How the site works
There are no user accounts, contact forms or newsletters. We measure only visibility and the first click attempt of a labelled affiliate link. Infrastructure also processes standard request metadata to secure and deliver the site.
03
OpenStreetMap map
The interactive map loads tiles from tile.openstreetmap.org only when it nears the viewport. The equivalent place list works without the map and without JavaScript.
04
Link measurement
When at least half a labelled link is visible, we send one view event; on its first click attempt, we send a click event to events.providenceguide.app. Fields are domain, path, language, provider, placement, destination domain, campaign, time and event type. No cookies or user or session identifier. Measurement is off with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track; raw events are deleted after 90 days. The service may process request metadata and an approximate country.
05
Your choice
You do not need to use an affiliate link to read the guide. Booking details, payment and support are handled by the external provider.
06
Stay22 script on guide pages
Editorial pages may load the Stay22 LetMeAllez script without a link click. Stay22 may process request data and use its own technologies to identify booking opportunities; see Stay22's privacy policy for details. The script does not load on legal or source pages or the page with a separate GetYourGuide link. We respect Global Privacy Control.
