01
The short answer
Choose Świnoujście for the beach, promenade and island geography. Choose Krynica-Zdrój for Deptak, mountain lifts and Beskid Sądecki routes. In either destination, the wrong base can add a daily transfer.
02
Świnoujście geography
Uznam carries the beach and main resort rhythm, Warszów on Wolin carries Polish rail, and Karsibór is the quieter island base. The station and crossing need to fit the accommodation.
03
Krynica geography
Deptak provides the central walk, Czarny Potok the Jaworzyna valley corridor, Słotwiny its own mountain access and Tylicz a separate locality. Season and last mile are part of the choice.
04
Which trip is simpler
Świnoujście becomes simple when arrival and accommodation sit on the right side of the Świna. Krynica becomes simple when the base sits beside the main daily purpose and the plan does not keep moving between centre and slopes.
05
The decision test
Choose one morning destination, one evening destination and a bad-weather fallback. Add the arrival station and final return. Pick the place where those four points create the cleanest pattern.
