Świnoujście is the only two-sided destination

It is the only one of the three reached by two different rail networks from two directions. Polish PKP trains terminate at Warszów on the island of Wolin, while German UBB reaches Świnoujście Centrum station on Uznam. Choosing the station is part of the accommodation decision here, not an addition to it.

Kołobrzeg is planned from a single station

Kołobrzeg has a main station in the central part of town, and it anchors the whole plan. Municipal line 5 links the station area with Podczele in the east and the Grzybowska terminus in the west, and POLREGIO lists local stops in its city-ticket terms. There are no crossings and no choice between networks.

Krynica-Zdrój needs a last-mile plan

In a mountain spa town it is not the arrival side but the last leg that decides how comfortable the trip feels. From the spa centre the whole day can be walked; from Czarny Potok, Słotwiny and the separate locality of Tylicz the journey has to be checked before booking.

What that means for the choice

If you travel from Germany and want to arrive without switching to the Polish network, Świnoujście is the natural choice — with a base on Uznam. If you travel by rail from Poland and want the simplest plan, Kołobrzeg requires the fewest decisions. Krynica-Zdrój demands the most attention on the last leg regardless of which direction you come from.
